| WEIGHING
MODE The system is based on the measurement of the pressure
of the lifting cylinder in the up phase (by means of the pressure
transducer) and the calculation of the up speed (with proximity switches
or inclinometer). To perform the weighing just lift the arm keeping
the motor revs constant, keep the lifting lever hooked and wait for
the unit to give the whistle which signals when the system is performing
the weighing. It is important during this “whistle” not
to alter the conditions of use: the upward movement must remain constant,
as must the motor revs. The machine must work as level as possible
and should be subjected to as few jolts as possible. When the “whistle” is
finished the central unit will display weight. |

Loading
light to avoid over weight fines can cost a company thousands of
dollars a year in lost profits. When your trucks are paid for how
much weight they deliver you want your trucks to carry their maximum
load each time you send a truck on a job. Not only is it important
that your trucks carry their maximum load but your bucket loader
must be able to load the trucks quickly and accurately to be cost
effective to use. When the truck driver has to stop at the scale
get a weight to see if they are light or heavy. It can be very
costly retuning to the pit to load or unload product. This takes

What you
need to install scale:
• Customer
may need to drill & tap in to the
hydraulics. Customer
is responsible for hydraulic fittings for the pressure transducers
connected
to the pressure lines of the machine. You will need One flange block or tap the hydraulic line. The pressure sensors supplied are equipped with ¼” BSSP
¼NPT to ¼ BSSP adapter comes with kit.
• The
customer to have a mechanic on site to tap into hydraulic system.

for install.
What you
need to calibrate scale:
• Calibration of this system
requires a known weight.
Most customers calibrate with on site with available materials. Scale must be calibrated at full capacity of the loader! Load a truck, verify the weight on a truck scale. Using the nudge feature in the scale indicator, correct the calibration as needed. (If calibrated with less than full capacity of bucket the weights may not be accurate)
Note: The
weighing system is hydraulic based. The hydraulic system on the machine
MUST be free of any leaks or defects. Mechanically, the machine must
be sound. Free of play in boom upper structure. Any discrepancies in
the areas will result in improper operation of the weighing system. |
